The following document is based on CLI commands.

In order to restore the configuration file of your DGS-3120 from an SD card, follow the following steps :

Step 1- Ask your switch to read the backup file on the SD card. In our example, the backup file is called "autobackup.cfg"

execute config d:/autobackup.cfg

Step 2- Write the configuration in the switch's internal memory

save

NOTE : the backup file created can't be used as a configuration file. To learn how to ceate this backup file on the SD card using a schedule, follow this link.
