What if an AP does not respond after a firmware upgrade or if it was interrupted?
All Nuclias access points support D-Link’s dual-image firmware architecture. If the first image of the firmware has failed to upgrade, the AP will reboot using the secondary firmware, last known working image. Once the device has rebooted and it is operational, it will then re-connect to the Nuclias cloud platform and perform another firmware upgrade based on the cloud setting. This will enable the corrupt image to be overwritten and the access point to be put into full function mode.
