How do I check the signal strength of the wireless backhaul connection?

If your Mesh extenders are connected through the Wi-Fi backhaul connection, they will dynamically pick the best way to connect to its Mesh router, either directly or through another Mesh node. Therefore, we recommend you check the signal strength and relocate any weak Mesh nodes to make sure data packets can be transferred based on a robust backhaul connection. To check the Mesh signal quality, please follow any of the methods below:

Method 1: Via the AQUILA PRO AI app

Step 1: Launch the AQUILA PRO AI app, and then log in with your D-Link account.

Step 2: Tap to choose the Location where your Mesh nodes are located.  

Step 3: Tap the Mesh router you would like to manage. Then, tap Extenders.

Step 4: Tap to select the extender you would like to check.

Step 5: Check the signal quality and make sure the status is Excellent or Good.
