What can I do if my D-Link Mesh extender is not showing up on the app?
After you install a D-Link Wi-Fi Mesh system, you can find your Mesh extenders in the Extender list of a compatible D-Link Mesh router. If your Mesh extenders are not showing up, please follow the steps below to troubleshoot:
- Verify if Wi-Fi Mesh is still enabled on the Mesh router. If you disable Wi-Fi Mesh, the Mesh extender will be disconnected and lose the Internet connectivity.
- Move your Mesh extender closer to the other Mesh node to have a strong signal connection.
- Prevent any potential interference sources like microwaves.
- If the Wi-Fi transmission power is set to Medium or Low, adjust it back to High to ensure the Mesh network resumes.
- If Wi-Fi power saving mode is enabled on your Wi-Fi 7 router, disable it to ensure the backhaul connection resumes.
- Connect your Mesh extender to the Mesh router or other Mesh extender with an Ethernet cable to stabilize backhaul connections.
If you cannot connect to your Mesh extender, perform a factory reset and set up the Mesh extender again.
