What is an unmanaged device and what should I do when there is an unmanaged device in the AQUILA PRO AI app?

Unmanaged devices are compatible devices in your local network that haven’t been bound with your D-Link account yet. If you see any unmanaged device in the app, simply tap the device and assign a Location for the device. Then, you will be able to manage the devices with the app anytime and anywhere. To add your device to your D-Link account using the app, please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Connect to the device’s Wi-Fi network on your mobile device.

Step 2: Launch the AQUILA PRO AI app and then log in with your D-Link account.

Step 3: An unmanaged device is detected. Enter the admin password you set for the device and then choose a location where you’d like to place this device. Then, tap Submit to continue.



Step 4: Wait while the device is being added to your account. You can now manage your device in the default room of the chosen location.
