It is recommended to enable encryption on your wireless router oraccess point before your wireless bridge. Please establish wirelessconnectivity before enabling encryption.

Note: Your network will slow down and wirelesssignal may degrade when enabling encryption due to the addedoverhead.

Step 1 Open your web browser and enter the IPaddress of the DWL-810 (192.168.0.30). Make sure your computer hasan IP address within the same subnet (192.168.0.x) as theDWL-810.

Step 2 Enter your username (admin) and password(blank). Click OK to continue.

Step 3 Click on Wireless. Makesure you have set encryption on your wireless access point orrouter first.

Step 4 Check the box next to WEPEnabled. Choose the WEP Key Length,either 64 or 128-bit. Enter the Hex WEP key that you entered onyour wireless access point or router. If you are in an Ad-Hocnetwork, make up a Hex key and enter the same key on your otherwireless nodes. Check the boxes next to Deny UnencryptedData and Shared Key Authentication.

Step 5 Click Apply to savesettings. Click Reboot when prompted.
