How do I change the IP address on my DAP access point?

To change the IP address for this access point, or to obtain an address automatically from a DHCP server on your network, follow these steps:

  1. Open your web browser, e.g. Internet Explorer and type the IP address of the access point into the address bar (default:
  2. Click on the SETUP tab at the top, then on the LAN SETUP button on the left hand side
  3. If you wish the access point to receive an IP address from a DHCP server, select Dynamic IP from the drop down list labelled My LAN Connection is. Otherwise, select Static IP and enter the required details into the fields below.

    For easier configuration, we recommend using a static IP address. It is only used to configure the access point, and has no effect on the APs operation.
