Security for your D-Link network camera

Various media reports have recently been published relating to vulnerabilities in IP Surveillance Cameras, including D-Link devices. Security and performance is of the utmost importance to D-Link across all product lines. This is not just through the development process but also through regular firmware updates to comply with the current safety and quality standards.
We are proactively working with the sources of these reports as well as continuing to review across the complete product line to ensure that the vulnerabilities discovered are addressed. 
We will continue to update this page to include the relevant product firmware updates addressing these concerns.

The beta firmware patches are available and can be downloaded from the links below for the relevant products. A full release of the official firmware will be available by the end of May at http://www.dlink.com/uk/en/support/camerasecurity.
D-Link’s consumer Cloud cameras offer push notification of new firmware updates on the mydlink web portal, so they will automatically receive the fix when the official firmware becomes available.  All other business solution cameras can be updated by visiting the D-Link http://www.dlink.com/uk/en/support/camerasecurity

Security patch for your D-Link network cameras
These firmware updates address the security vulnerabilities in affected D-Link network cameras. D-Link will update this continually and we strongly recommend all users to install the relevant updates.

Once you download the zip file, please unzip and update the firmware through your camera's web user interface. You can access this either through the "Advanced Settings" under "Settings" within your mydlink web portal, or directly through the internal IP address which can be obtained from your router.
