The Boxee Box can see networks from wireless channels 1 to 11 in the 2.4 GHz frequency (802.11b/g/n). If your wireless network is set on channels 12 or 13, then you need to set it on a lower channel. But if your wireless network is on the 5 GHz (802.11a/n), then you need to switch it to 2.4 GHz to use it with the Boxee Box.
