Some of our routers have a feature called Smart Connect. It merges the two bands together into one visible wifi, and when you connect your devices to it, the router will seamlessly add them to the 2,4GHz band or the 5GHz band depending on the distance and the speed, so there is no need to connect to two different networks and switch between them manually. The option can be toggled on or off in the router’s configuration page.
