How do I change the IP address on my DAP access point?

To change the IP address for this access point, or to obtain anaddress automatically from a DHCP server on your network, followthese steps:

  1. Open your web browser, e.g. Internet Explorer and type the IPaddress of the access point into the address bar (default:
  2. Click on the SETUP tab at the top, then on the LAN SETUP buttonon the left hand side
  3. If you wish the access point to receive an IP address from aDHCP server, select Dynamic IP from the drop down list labelled MyLAN Connection is. Otherwise, select Static IP and enter therequired details into the fields below.

    For easier configuration, we recommend using a static IPaddress. It is only used to configure the access point, and has noeffect on the APs operation.
